Second Nature Entrada is a year-round licensed therapeutic wilderness program. We offer clients struggling with emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges a journey toward fulfillment and success. Our program guides adults and adolescents toward healthy behaviors and rewarding relationships. Their wilderness treatment experience creates positive communication, healthy expression of emotion, and the experience of the powers of the wilderness.

We are looking for energetic and creative people who love the outdoors and appreciate being a part of a community. Our Instructors share their passion for the wilderness with our clients, they role-model healthy expression of emotion and appropriate behavior, and lead by example. Second Nature Entrada Wilderness Field Instructors teach backpacking skills, Leave No Trace ethics, and team building activities. They assist therapists with treatment plans and goals and are a constant support, guide and teacher to the clients they work with. Most importantly, our Field Instructors keep our clients safe while backpacking in the beautiful southern Utah deserts and mountains.
